Now there is a animated Riverdance movie with the score by the composer who composed the music for the show,yes this film was inspired by the worldwide stage show and all the music is from the show with a twist humans and animals dancing to the music from Riverdance.

They produced a recording of the new production of Riverdance with all the original music.
I'm part Irish and it makes me proud that two young Irish American dancers Micheal Flatley and Jean Butler made this into a worldwide smash production and these are the original taps by Michael and Jean and the original dance troupe.

i did part of this at my dance show and only did irish for a year! being experienced in ballet and tap helps a lot in my opinion
+Kitkat Dodger I am currently in Irish Dance and I love every second of it. I started out doing Ballet and Tap then moved on to Jazz and Hip Hop but didn't like either. I had a friend that been doing Irish Dance at the time and I loved watching her. I went to one of her competitions before joining and loved the way they moved and the solo dresses and I'm glad I made the decision of joining. My best achievement was finishing my first year of Irish Dance moving up to all Novice.

It's been about 4 years this January and I have competed at every Arizona competition, and I went to the WRO (Western Regional Oireachtas) with a new dress and I loved the experience.

Hola :) Andrés, Huascar Barrasdas, músico venezolano interpretando el "joropo" llamado "Pajarillo". El joropo es un estilo de música étnica de Venezuela, el baile de este estilo de música es parte del folklore nacional, es un ritmo, textualmente dice: " inspirado por el llanero colombo-venezolano, José Agustín Pinto. al parecer en la década de 1880-90 en honor al caballo de su silla, de nombre pajarillo que murió a consecuencia de la mordedura de una serpiente cascabel... Pinto, amaba tanto a su caballo como cualquier llanero, sintió en el alma su muerte y esa misma tarde tomo en sus manos el requinto y se inspiro musicalmente en el y evidentemente nació un nuevo golpe llanero al que llamo como su caballo "PAJARILLO". .... Acá podrás encontrar diversos artistas interpretando esta canción.

I've seen many dance versions of this song from Riverdance.
Love Bill Whelan's score. The saxophone part (Kenneth Edge, I believe) at 2:24 is incredible and really underlines the unity in the entire Riverdance score as an ethnic world music piece. It sounds middle eastern, eastern European, and of course, Irish.
